Catalog Data Only
StoreClean only requests access to product-related Shopify resources (titles, descriptions, SEO fields, images, variants). We never access customer personal data, orders, credit cards, or financial logs.
Read-Only Scanning
Catalog audits are strictly non-mutating. Running a scan reads your product attributes to identify gaps and compute your score without making any changes to your live storefront.
Deliberate, Merchant-Controlled Fixes
No fix is applied automatically in the background. Every update requires your review and explicit approval, backed by live pre-checks and rollback snapshots.
Store-Level Isolation
Every Shopify store's session tokens, scan results, and operational histories are completely segregated in encrypted storage partitions.
Shopify Privacy Webhooks
StoreClean complies with all mandatory Shopify App Store privacy webhooks, including automated shop/redact data purging upon uninstallation.
Zero Data Selling or Model Training
We do not sell, broker, or monetize your product data, nor do we train public AI models on your private store catalog copy.
What happens when you uninstall StoreClean?
When you uninstall StoreClean from your Shopify Admin, Shopify automatically sends a shop/redact webhook to our server. Upon verification, StoreClean revokes session tokens and permanently purges your store's cached scan records and operation history snapshots within 48 hours.
