1. Service Description

StoreClean provides a software-as-a-service application designed for Shopify merchants to analyze product catalog hygiene, compute a deterministic Catalog Health Score, review detected issues, and apply safe, verified catalog fixes.

2. Relationship to Shopify

StoreClean is an independent third-party application developed for the Shopify e-commerce platform. StoreClean is not owned, operated, endorsed, or certified by Shopify Inc. Your use of Shopify itself remains governed by the Shopify Terms of Service.

3. Merchant Responsibilities & Catalog Review

You acknowledge that you retain sole responsibility and ownership over your Shopify product catalog, pricing, inventory accuracy, and public storefront content. While StoreClean implements safety mechanisms (including live latest value re-checks and conflict detection), you are responsible for reviewing proposed fixes and AI-assisted text suggestions before confirming publication.

4. AI-Generated Suggestions

StoreClean includes AI-assisted content tools for generating product titles, meta descriptions, and image ALT text. AI output is provided on an "as-is" assistive basis. Merchants must review and verify that AI-generated copy accurately represents product materials, claims, and regulatory requirements before publishing.

5. Subscriptions & Shopify Billing

Paid subscriptions (Starter and Growth plans) are billed in recurring 30-day billing cycles processed exclusively through Shopify Billing. All subscription charges appear on your unified Shopify monthly invoice.

Free Trials: Eligible paid plans include a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial expires, billing commences automatically via Shopify.
Plan Changes & Cancellations: You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time within your StoreClean app settings or by uninstalling the application from Shopify Admin.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use StoreClean to upload unlawful, deceptive, or defamatory product content, reverse-engineer the underlying application, or interfere with Shopify API limits.

7. Intellectual Property

StoreClean and its original branding, modular design system, logo, code, and documentation remain the exclusive intellectual property of [REQUIRES BUSINESS INPUT: Legal Business Name].

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

StoreClean is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
